New Product/Service Announcement
2026-06-04
We are pleased to announce new products related to newspaper distribution.
■ ABR (Blanket Restoration Device)
This device was jointly developed with Asahi Printec Co., Ltd. to address issues faced in the printing industry, such as material costs, workload, and environmental impact.
Resin is applied evenly to the base fabric layer of the normal blanket, whose thickness has been reduced (the rubber surface remains intact).
Normal blankets that were previously thrown away after a few months can now be used for a longer period by restoring the thickness of the base fabric layer.
■ Air-powered ink agitator
This model uses an air-driven system for the ink agitator.
Because it is driven by connecting an air hose to an air source, mechanical parts such as motors, drive chains, chain tighteners, and ratchet mechanisms are unnecessary.

■ PDS (Edge Breakage Detection System)
PDS (Paper edge crease detection system)
This system detects folded edges on the newspaper carrier and ejects the paper accordingly.
A small, AI-equipped camera photographs each newspaper individually and processes the images in real time. Newspapers identified as having folded edges are discarded as defective, one copy at a time.
By increasing the number of AI models, we can handle multiple construction sites and perform additional work at existing factories.
